This page applies to purchases from Golf Cart Buddy LLC (“Golf Cart Buddy”, “we”, “us”), 216 Spaulding Street, Port Charlotte, FL 33953, phone +1 (941) 433-8992, through golfcartsbuddy.com.
We stand behind every vehicle we sell. This page explains what our limited warranty covers, what it excludes and how to make a claim.
What is covered
- 1 year from the date of delivery on the whole vehicle and the battery that comes with it.
- Manufacturing and quality defects are covered, with replacement parts free of charge.
- Battery coverage applies to manufacturing and quality defects. All batteries slowly lose some capacity with normal use and charging; this gradual aging is expected and is not a defect. If you have a battery problem, our team will evaluate it individually to decide whether it is covered.
How repairs are handled
The repair method depends on the problem. For many repairs, we ship you the part with guidance so you can complete the fix yourself. For problems that need closer inspection or hands-on work, our team assesses the situation and arranges the right solution case by case.
After you submit a claim, we complete a technical assessment. The outcome may be:
- repair of the affected part or component
- replacement of parts, or repair of the vehicle
- a refund, if approved after the assessment
If your vehicle may need to come to our facility, we first review the problem to see whether it is likely covered before any transport is arranged. If the problem is confirmed as a covered defect, we pay the transport. If it is not covered, transport costs are the customer’s responsibility.
What is not covered
- Damage from improper use, abuse, modification, accidents, outside impact or human error. Repairs for this damage are charged separately.
- Normal wear and tear, including gradual loss of battery capacity over time.
- Vehicles bought through third-party auctions or resellers.
- Used or salvaged vehicles.
- Parts, accessories, batteries and chargers bought separately (not as part of a vehicle). These are sold without our warranty; any warranty offered by their manufacturer is separate.
- Repairs done by a third party without our prior written authorization. These are not reimbursed.

Frequently asked questions
Will accessories or modifications void my warranty?
Damage caused by modifications is not covered. It is handled as a separate, paid repair.
Is accident or impact damage covered?
No. The warranty covers manufacturing and quality defects only.
My battery range has dropped over time. Is that covered?
A gradual drop in range is a normal part of battery aging and is not a defect. If you notice a battery problem, contact us and we will evaluate it individually.
Do I pay for labor or a service visit on a covered repair?
No. For confirmed defects, the repair or replacement we arrange is free of charge. How the repair is carried out depends on the problem.
Does the warranty transfer if I sell the vehicle?
No. Coverage applies only to the original purchaser.
Do I need to register my vehicle?
No. Your 1-year warranty starts automatically on the delivery date.
What about the manufacturer’s warranty?
Some product pages mention a warranty offered by the manufacturer. That coverage is separate from ours and is set by the manufacturer. Ask us to confirm it applies before you order.
Limitation of liability
Our liability under this warranty is limited to the repair, replacement or refund described above. We are not liable for incidental or consequential damages arising from a defect, delay or repair, including loss of use, lost time, inconvenience, or third-party costs incurred without our prior authorization.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
